You can easily use BarTender Labels report type to drop the data into a text file.
Wouldnāt that text file have a header row, and use commas to separate the columns?
My SSRS report actual has just one column that contains the entirety of each line of the desired text output. If being able suppress the header row, than that might work.
Also, Iāve always assumed that Bartender is for labels, and labels usually donāt have header or footer (I.E. Group Summary rows). Would they cause problems?
The output is the RDD. There are some header rows, so it might not work in your instance.
Well you have given me something to think about as what I am outputting is not anything elaborate so maybe I should be looking at a BPMā¦I am essentially just creating a text file with a list of file locations for reference and figured a button on the form that generated the report would be easiestā¦
