TAF: Unable to connect to AppServer E9.05.700

The fix from Support was

1. Start --> OpenEdge explorer --> Start OpenEdge Management.

2. Launch that and under that DOS window, allow the fathom database a few minutes to connect and it may throw a message or two.

3. If that connection is successful then start the management console.

This worked for me and I did not have to troubleshoot any further.

Check if the AdminService for OpenEdge 10.2A service has been started.

Finalizing the installation of EPICOR 9.05.700 using document Epicor905_NewInstallGuide_905700_SQL.pdf. Made the changes on page 42. "9.2 Verify System Agent for Printing". After making this change I receive the error "Unable to connect to AppServer". Attempt to start OE Management console and site does not show.

I am effectively locked out and at a loss. Please advise.
