System task runner has been stopped

Good Morning,

First things first, we are running 10.1.400.22, in case this is merely a bug.

Came across these errors looking at another post trying to find a detailed error for why our PO’s will not print, but can be print previewed. The report completes successfully, but when looking in the System Monitor, I find the that the last action shows “System error has occurred! Run in preview mode from System Monitor for details.”

Someone suggested in another post that looking on the server at the Event Viewer for Epicor Ice Tack Agent Service errors might help me find the detail. I do not see an error for the print job that I am looking into, but I see that the “System task runner has been stopped” every 20 seconds for all of my environments. Then it restarts. Is this normal? See full error below:

“EpicorLive10: System task runner has been stopped.”

“EpicorLive10: System task runner has been restarted after encountering an error.”

“EpicorLive10: System task runner has been started.”

Thanks in advance,

Hi Eric

Did you ever get this resolved? I am seeing the same issue on my system and I am currently seeing issues with emails not being sent through Epicor…everything is going to Queue but not sending (just sitting on the ice.MailQueue table…

Thanks

Was hoping to find some help here, but no responses. Not sure if this is something Epicare would have an answer for, but unfortunately, I don’t have time to go back and forth with them at the moment. If you find anything, let me know.

Ok will do Eric. I will be putting in a ticket today I think but if we find a solution I will let you know

Thanks for responding, appreciate it!

@adamk - What does System Monitor show for your tasks that are “stuck”?

Are the on the Schedule, Active, or History sheet?
