System Report - New report style - Synchronize Dataset

  • Created New Style
  • Created New Data definition.
  • Used Existing report
  • Need to Synchronize dataset on the Report.

I have to do some updates on the system Report.
I have added the new report style, copied the existing RDD and create the new RDD and included the required tables and columns.

  1. When I tried to create the new report using Crease SSRS Report menu item, i am getting the below error message.

You can only create SSRS reports that are based off of RDDs that use BAQs or Electronic Interfaces.

  1. I have uploaded the existing report on this new report style. Updated the RDD. But I am not able to Synchronize the updated RDD with this uploaded Report. Since the Synchronize Data set menu item is disabled.

Can you please help me to Synchronize Data ?

On your new report style, make sure it’s using the RDD you copied and not the Epicor ‘standard’ one.
