Created a project job and added a sub-contract operation. When trying to enter a purchase order, we are getting the following error. Can’t seem to find where to correct it or clear the error. the operations did get marked complete, the moment we entered them.
“Material/operations is not on file or it has no pending requirements.”

Sometimes when you are setup to make zero you get strange things like this. Do you have a demand link for make to stock or make to order entered, for mfr of a quantity > 0?

I believe I found the issue. Since this is a project job, it doesn’t have a demand. So adding subcontractors to the main project job will not work. When you have a WBS Phase job, a demand is not required and you can add the subcontractors in without a problem.
