I just got a request from a customer to write a BPM that would automatically clock out or end activity for employees that forgot to clock out at the end of the shift.
Kinetic MES has already solved this problem.
Log in as a supervisor and select the supervisor tab.
As an aside - maybe we should have Standard Functions Tuesdays to highlight gem’s that are new in Kinetic that weren’t in Classic?
Can you do the same thing in Shop Tracker?
Kinetic has actually been great for Office MES, the ability to not only clock out their shift but also specific active jobs as well is great and something our supervisors have been asking for for years.
They cover these new features pretty well as they are released - just type “What’s new” in the question mark.
They might be there, but you have to read them to know that they are there.
Some times there are situations that Epicor didn’t even realize how a feature could be utilized.
yep, unfortunately they haven’t released the direct developer → brain conduit yet lol.
We use the Calculate Idle Time setting, preventing our (non-hourly) supervisors from clocking in as themselves without creating labor records. So without a customization preventing/deleting labor rows, we can’t use this feature. Hoping someone tells me I’m wrong
