SSRS Subreport

E10.1.500.32
In the production detail report I have not been able to locate the ProdDtl_SubContractdetails subreport.
anyone know where it might be hiding inside of that report or another subreport that it might be in?

Also is there any place in SSRS that would show what subreports are included in a report?

The SSRS Report Builder is seriously lacking a navigation pane like Crystal has.

I often end up setting the background of various tablix rows to different colors. This helps to track down what displayed/printed fields are where.

Also, some of the tablix rows are set o almost 0 height, and rely on the sub-report inside it to grow it to size. :frowning:

Found it. Use the zoom tool to zoom in and select the skinny rows, looking at the props pane to show which you’ve selected.

Here it is after I expanded it’s height

It is two rows above the row with Calc_SerialNoList

I made the background color of the row yellow in this pict:

Calvin,

I am now a little confused, looking at your example I found where theProdDtl_SubcontractDetails sub report should be located in the report.

zooming out the area to the max I found the line I was looking for but in my report it is not a subreport it is a rectangle.

It has ProdDtl_SubContractDetails inside a rectangle box. in the rectangle properties there is nothing that would allow me to change the link

to my Customized ProdDtl_SubContractDetails sub report.

any suggestions?

Gary

I went back and had trouble finding it again, but eventually did.

I think it’s really hard to find because the height is set to 0

You have to click right on the line that would be the top of that row.

Edit: I only highlighted the [Calc_Serial…] row as a reference

Thanks for the info
