I have an Epicor resource currently installing 10.1.6 for me and we are stuck because the Report Server site is requiring authentication (user name and password).
Anyone ever run into this? Know how to fix it?
Where is it requiring authentication? Have you checked the app server setup?

The Application Server is not set up yet. The Epicor consultant is saying he cannot create the app server because the ReportServer Location is requiring authentication.
You need to check the report server web address from the application server. If they are both the same server then just open the browser and try to browse to the http:///reports directory. If you have an authentication challenge then you have access rights incorrect at some layer. Get this part working and the creation of the SSRS reports and deployment should work. You may have to reset the SSRS installation if this is a new install, or finish some configuration.
