SSRS Report Builder not working with Guid to review report changes

Since we updated to 10.2.500 we can no longer put the GUID in the TableGuid field to review the report.

Is there something we need to check to make this work again? We were on 10.1.400 before updating and it was working. Report was run at 8:17 inside Epicor and worked. Then i tried to run it from SSRS with the TableGuid and got the error. Not just this report. All the people here that create or edit reports have the same problem.

Did you select an archive period greater than 0 days when running the report to get the GUID?

That made the one I just tested work. Is there a default setting that needs to be set to get that to pop up as “Day”?

Another report gave me this error which I suspect is not related to the Archive Period issue

  • An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
    • Cannot create a connection to data source ‘dsBAQReport’. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)

I don’t know if it changed along the way but I think it might have. Archive period greater than a day is required to preserve the GUID for reference for your selected period.

Not sure about a default setting, I always just change it because it only applies when I am editing and previewing SSRS reports.

Not sure on your second error. Did you try the archive period on that one?

Ross

I did try the archive period on that, not sure if the person having issue with it has it working. So i will leave it out of this discussion going forward.

I spread the news around on the archive period and that should get rid of some of the issues we are having. Thanks for your help.

Save defaults will make this your default.
