SSRS Preventing Split Row

Hi~!

I have an issue. I have a Sales Order Pick List, but it will split a portion of the information/line if it doesn’t fit.

How can I make sure that it keeps the rows together on a page, even if it means leaving a blank portion of the first page?

I hope I am making sense…

It’s doing this:

I want it like this:

(I know it’s a different line but I am showcasing how it keeps it together page by page)

Is the issue the comments being on every page? If yes, how do I disable that?

Thank you!

I’ve never played with the SO Pick List… but I would try looking at the Groups at the bottom. Find the Group you want to work with and go into the Group Properties and “Page Breaks”. There’s an option there to add a Page Break “between each instance of a group.”

That would be my best advice to test.

EDIT… well, on second thought, that may not be ideal. This would print each instance on a new page. Maybe that’s desirable… maybe not.

I have spent an embarrassing number of hours trying to get reports to format just right across page breaks. It seems there is no one way that fixes everything. There are so many controls that might affect it. But it’s just like Epicor. There’s a hierarchy at work there. I’d start with your Keep Together setting and make sure it’s set to true. You have it on your group as well as your individual controls on the report. There may be a rectangle, your tablix row, as well as the text boxes themselves. I’d play setting Keep Together true on different combinations there.
