Hello, I am trying to add barcoded serial numbers in a multicolumn format to the Packing Slip SSRS style. Adding a sub-report is not helping since it has it’s own page size settings. It’s ignoring the empty space it can use on the main report. I have done it successfully in Crystal Reports, but now since it is not supported any more I need to convert it to SSRS. See the Crystal Reports and SSRS screenshots.
Is it okay if the records go across and then down?
101 102 104
105 106 107
108 ...
if so, checkout
Calvin,
Yes, that is how I was able to do in Crystal. But it does not matter, it can flow down then across on the first page and then do the same on the next page.
I edited that post to include a link to another thread where I show how to do it.
It assumes each value is in its own record (row of the dataset). I put 3 tablixes in side by side.
The row visiblity formula makes the left one only show records 1, 4, 7, 10, etc… The 2nd tablix only shows 2, 5, 8, 11, etc …, and the 3rd: 3, 6, 9, 12, …
Calvin, I was able to make it work. Thank you very much for your help.
