SSRS is a horrible labeling system. Is Bartender any better?
I like bartender because it is very easy to use. End users can configure labels fairly easily.
and can link it to DB to pull field data. you can also configure some auto print functions.
There is some more setup with bartender to get things running, and usually it’s a bit less flexible than using client printers, however it works way better for creating labels and working with label printers. We paid a consultant to make an SSRS label for us and we still couldn’t get it to play nice with a zebra printer. Bartender, no issues. If you are looking to automate things, bartender has slick tools to be able to set it up.
What troubles are you having as we have made numerous SSRS reports into labels for zebra printers and they work excellent for our needs.
We seem to have fixed the issue. But, it took a lot of time to correct the SSRS label. We do not an SSRS resource on staff as we are implementing.
