Splash Screen appears but Epicor application does not display

Single sign on user. Splash screen appears but Epicor application does not display. No system monitor displays. She does have dual monitors but neither one shows the application or the system monitor

Logging into windows with a different account on the same workstation works fine with single sign on.

If you look at the Epicor admin console for that user it is showing active sessions.

Does it show in your start bar?
Is it only for this user on this computer?

No it does show in the start bar. If you go to task manager you will see it running but if you click on it then the session goes away. Only for this user on this computer with her windows login. If someone else on the same computer logs in with their windows account and launches Epicor it works fine

Checked one personalization she had related to job entry and deleted it. Otherwise no other changes to her workstation. She has been logging on this way for several years

If you right mouse click and choose Move, press the left arrow and then move the mouse around, can you bring it to a screen?

Does this occur on another machine?
If not, delete the C:\ProgramData\Epicor\ folders from the client machine.
If it does occur on other machines. Try the Personalization Purge from Epicor.

Are they using the Harry Potter Marauder’s map theme?

Right mouse click on the epicor shortcut?

Let’s see, I hover the icon in the Task Bar, when the icon floats, right mouse click, choose Move

I unpinned it from the task bar. I’ll try repinning it so I can see it in the task bar and then try that

Thanks

Not the same issue, but we’ve found many problems that are resolved with deleting the folders in:
C:\ProgramData\Epicor\

If deleting files makes you nervous (and it should), just rename the Epicor folder to Epicor_org

Thanks Calvin I have done that in the past and might be the thing to try in this case

We had the issue today of the epicor application not opening. The user could sign in but then nothing would happen the application would just not open.

Deleting the folders under C:\ProgramData\Epicor did the trick - thank you Calvin.
