Spend by GL and Vendor

Hi everyone. I am trying to get a report with what we spent by Vendor for each GL. We keep running into the "Periodic Posting Process" that wipes out the PO or Invoice data. Can anyone help me? I have tried connecting tables but can't seem to get there.

Have you tried the expense distribution report? Under AP + Reports

Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is that this report shows the invoices that were from a PO under the A/P GL account, not the original GL on the PO. The only invoices that show up under the different GLs (such as shop supplies) are the ones that were purchased without a PO. :(

Any other suggestions on this - or Lisa did you have any luck?  We are looking for exactly the same thing, and haven't been able to figure out the table requirements to get this data for posted AP invoices

One way would be to create a BAQ and join the POREL table with the TranGLC. 

You filter the TranGLC table by only including the POREL types ( I know I'm being vague here but I'm going by memory).


Perhaps others can help with the specifics.
