Is there a special notes field that can be populated with info from manufacturing to sales ? For example: “See scheduling for lead time improvement.”

Where are you looking to see this, sales order, quote, job?
I want sales to be able to see the note when entering in a new sales order. To alert them that they need to contact scheduling to improve lead time.
I’m not aware of a field that would pop up and alert them with a custom message like that.
A BPM on ChangePartNumber could check existing stock and/or allocations, and display a message if the item needs Production to provide a lead time.
