We need to update Supplier Price List Lead Time for a bunch of parts. I would prefer to use DMT, but it’s not really working for me yet.
I have tried using the Supplier Price List Template, where the field is SupplierPart#LeadTime. I get no DMT errors, but it ignores that last column.
I have tried using the Supplier Part Template, where the field is LeadTime, and, again, DMT reports no error but doesn’t make the update.
When I look at field help in the user interface, the DB Field is VendPart.LeadTime. I did try to change “SupplierPart” to “VendPart” in the Supplier Price list DMT, but got a “column not found” error (or whatever the equivalent is).
I am contemplating deleting them all and re-adding them, but that seems extreme. There should be some way to update them.
Did you try using LeadTime in the Supplier Price List template. See screenshot below. Maybe just do the required fields and add LeadTime. The SupplierPart#LeadTime looks like it is referring to PartXRefVend.LeadTime which is not what you say you are going for. Always try is your test environment first!
Thanks for the very straightforward simple answer. I usually reverse engineer the DB field by using Technical Details of Field Help. And yes, we do cross reference the vendor part numbers and when I went looking, that is the field that was getting updated, rather than the regular Supplier Price List lead time. Why it gives a different DB reference in the Field Help, I do not know…
