Solution Workbench - Quicksearch?

Is it possible to add quick searches to a solution workbench? I just created the BAQ and a Quicksearch in PILOT, tested it, and would love to deploy it in LIVE (rather than re-creating it).

Easy enough to add the BAQ to the solution, but I didn’t see where I would add the quick search (via the ‘Add To Solution’ button and Element tab).

Hi Dan,

I didn’t have it in 10.0.700.4, but do in our 10.2.200.5 test environment. I followed your screen shots (and application help file) to add QuickSearch via Element maintenance (including the 4 display columns).

10.0 has an extra checkbox of “Delivered”. Help states: Delivered - When selected, this check box indicates the selected solution is delivered with the Epicor application. I’m not quite sure what that means, and whether to check it or not.

Here’s how it looks in Element Maintenance so far. SystemFlag is also not checked, like it is in the 10.2 out of the box QuickSearch element:

Hi guys - We got our 10.2 test environment back up, so I could make more progress. I created the BAQ & Quick Search in our LIVE 10.0.700.4 environment, and everything seems normal. Then I created a Quick Search Solution Element, and then built a Solution (by adding the BAQ and QuickSearch). I installed that solution into our PILOT environment, and there were no error messages.

Unfortunately, the quick search does not appear in Case Entry as the default, or even in Quick Search Maintenance! The BAQ did make it over.

Any idea what I missed? I’m wondering if it had something to do with adding the Quick Search Solution Element into 10.0.700.4, and I missed some additional fields…
