I hoping some group members could provide some direction on a good PM (preventative maintenance) program that is reasonably priced, that is networkable, and multi-user capable. We are currently on Vantage 6.1 and have been told by many sources that there is really not a comprehensive solution from Epicor. I've heard some users are using the Field Service Module for PM. Not sure what v8 offers in this area.
The program should:
1. Log the history of both scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance.
2. Machine Information (location, asset number, date of service, etc)
3. Machine Vendor information (original mfg, support & parts suppliers).
4. A calendar for scheduling maintenance (Annual, semi-annual, ..... weekly, daily, shift-start, shift-end).
5. Operators should be able to open new trouble tickets and view trouble ticket status.
6. Maintenance should be notified via email of new trouble tickets and scheduled maintenance due.
7. Maintenance should be divided into two providers - Operator & Maintenance, because some pm is performed by the operators.
8. Maintenance should be the only ones allowed to edit or close a ticket (or any other information for that matter).
9. Tracking downtime and repair time would be a bonus.
