Service Connect: FTP output channel

I’m working on configuring an FTP output channel and it’s giving me issues.

I was given the host name, user name, and password.

When I enter the actual address, ftp://www.sitename.org, the channel throws a validation error.
When I enter that www.sitename.org, it passes the validation and continues on.

When the appropriate workflow is triggered, the output shows up in the “Failed Output” section.

If I open the properties of the failed channel output, I see a “Fail Reason” at the bottom of the tracing node.

Is anyone familiar with the Service Connect FailReason codes? I have found nothing in the documentation or online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Update: I believe the problem is with the FTP site itself, not the workflow or configuration of the channels.
I will update once it’s finalized.
