Can anyone recommend a good consultant for Service Connect.
We are looking for someone that can help us connect our Epicor Database to our website (on an SQL database), to automatically add orders in Epicor whenever a sales order is received on the website, and to automatically issue materials to a job based on records on a UD table.
We used Epicor Professional services and were happy with the results, although we have two software developers in-house. Service Connect tries to sell itself as a workflow tool that avoids having to write any code, but we have always felt this is being a little generous toward a tool that is basically making .NET API calls and graphically creating XSLT translations that are daisy changed together with sub-routines (sub-workflows), logic forks (conditionals), and keeping things tucked away in extensions to the base xml (variables). If it looks like software development, and smells like software development… 
Of course, none of this may apply if you do not have any ambition of changing or adding to your own service connect workflows.

I use ASGTek.com, certified EPICOR Consultants as well…plus lower billing rate.
