Selling a Phantom Part and Relieving Materials from Inventory

If sales decides to sell a Phantom part, how would production relieve the component materials from inventory? Currently the lowest level materials are set as backflush.

We ran MRP on that part and it did make a job to the sales order, however we can’t clock into the operation for the job (as there are non for Phantoms), and thus the materials can’t backflush from inventory. Any input would be appreciated!

You might want to look at this helpful post:

I don’t think you can sell phantom parts. We make a new nonstock part and pull the phantom into it if we really need to sell one. Other than that, we use sales kits for collection of parts with no operations.
