We have added this position in antipipation of a sharp increase in intercompany transactions with our new implementation of Multi Site. Walton Signage is experiencing tremendous growth and is an Inc 5000 company 3 peater.
We are seeking an ACCOUNTANT to be primarily responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and preparing financial reports in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Duties include:
Accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger coding, preparing/posting journal entries, preparing/analyzing account reconciliations and gross margin reporting for all intercompany transactions between program management and manufacturing. Investigating variances in reporting.
Distributing expenditures, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.
Auditing contracts, orders, and vouchers, and preparing reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
Collecting appropriate data to prepare state and local reports and sales tax returns. Backing up A/R and A/P positions.
Completing special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
Must have an advanced level of Excel skills.
Epicor 9.05 experience a huge plus.
Must be well organized, self-directed, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet reporting deadlines.
