Search-Show: BAQ Search Result

Hi,
I have a BAQ search which opens the search window and displays the result fine; however, when I selected a record and click OK, it doesn’t go anywhere. The window doesn’t close either unless I clicked the Cancel button.

This is my setup.

I do see an error in the debug console when I first clicked the search icon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated it.

Thank you,
Peter

Do you have a search-value-set widget after the search-show?

Your also don’t need this:

That’s for when you’re calling a defined search in the MetaUI folder and is typically just “default”.
It’s unneeded for a BAQ search.

Thank you for the quick response Hannah.

I do have search-value-set. And I know this is working b/c when I use the basic search for UD14, the fields are populated correctly.

In regard to the Search Form, I thought I was having another issue when setting it to default. I have updated it back to default but I am still having the same issue with the search form not closing when clicking OK.

Thanks,
Peter

Out of curiosity, does it at least show the click animation on the button? If not, there was a bug where you have to click the exact center of it.

Sorry, can’t tell you what shows up when it wasn’t working b/c magically it is working now. I am not sure how because all the setups are the same.
Thanks!

On a different subject, do you know how to default value BAQ parameter? In my case, I want to use an input value on the form as a default criterion. I tried the Pre Search filter for BAQ search but it seems to not work. Do you know the best way to handle this?

Thanks

Last I checked, you couldn’t, but I haven’t looked in 2023.1 yet.

Ok, thanks!

Yeah, I confirmed you cannot and there’s no plan on the horizon yet.

I made an idea if you wanna see if that will go anywhere: Silently Pass Parameters to BAQ Search | Epicor Kinetic Ideas (aha.io)

Ok, great! Thanks.
