Bob,
Go to work center maintenance and under scheduling part of it, check
the box 'split operation'. Also make sure to enter 2 for number of
machines and crew size in the job entry for the operation. This
should work.
venky
Your question was:
we are attempting to use job scheduling and have run into a problem.
The operation time to complete the operation is 200 hrs. This does
not fit in the overall time frame for the job. Correct the problem,
we indicate that two machines (people) will be used for the
operation. we expected to see the schedule reflect this by cutting
the elapsed operation time by half. we saw no affect?
Is our logic wrong or ????
Thanks
