Scheduling Resource on Job has wrong burden rate

Hello,

We have jobs that have the wrong production burden rate and I am trying to find the source of the problem.

We will take an example of Job 037140-1-1.

The job has 1 operation. The OpCode is Powder Coat Parts and it is OPCode = 12.

When I go to the Scheduling Resources tab, I see that it has Resource GroupID = Powder Coat Line. The Production Burden rate is $29.

On the Scheduling Requirements tab, it shows the Resource Group ID = PWDR.

The Resource Group ID = PWDR is this screen. Notice that the burden rate is $145.00.

Why is job 037140-1-1 showing a burden rate of $29.00 and not $145.00?

What am I missing? I thought the Operation is assigned a resource group on Operation > Scheduling Requirements > Resource Groups. I thought we have scheduled the Resource group ID correctly. The incorrect burden rate means that we have an error assigning a resource groupID to an operation.

I believe the issue is the $145 burden rate is in the Quoting Burden rate boxes and not the costing Burden Rate Boxes. Therefore it will only be applicable to a quote level. The costing burden rates are what would be used in the production of the job. Those would need to be updated to the $145 also.

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I got lost in all the details of the costing calculation and didn’t look close enough if my data was coming from the quoting or costing labor rates.
