We have a particular job that when the employee(s) try to claim parts on it, it throws this error and not allow them to continue. We have seen this in the past and were able to fix it by just “rescheduling” the job in Epicor but that didn’t work with this latest job that has shown this error. Does anyone know what we can check/verify that might be causing this error? We have a case called into Epicor but so far, nothing has worked. We have made the part the job is calling out for many times before without issue. We also created a “new” job for this part, and attempted to claim parts against it and it threw this error on a completely different job. I have no clue as to what could be causing it. I looked at an older job for this part and the old and new jobs look identical except for the scheduling dates so I’m guessing it has someting to do with those. Anyone have a similar situation???
I read an earlier post on the usergroup on this that suggested to change the job operation that was causing the issue to something else, save the job, then change it back, then save again. THIS WORKED! I still have no clue as to why this occurred or why this fixed it but as always, this usergroup has never let me down!!!
When we had this I found that the start time was zero. I had set the calendar with 1 thru 8 for 8 working hours in the production calendar. Support had me check 6-13 instead and we have been fine since.
