I came into the office this morning to users asking about a report being incorrect and it has me at a complete loss, thought maybe somebody here could help me out! We have a BAQ Export Process that is set up to export query results on a System Agent Schedule (every hour) to an XML file type. It has been working with no issues for around 2 weeks until yesterday at some point before 4pm, the XML file would just export empty (just the empty parent node not completely blank). As of 9am this morning it is still generating an empty XML file; however if I manually run the BAQ Export Process (not on a schedule) the generated XML file is correct with all required data.
As I said I’m at a loss - is there any kind of arbitrary limitations to the Scheduled Tasks? In the System Monitor I see the task ran successfully, the App Server did not throw any kind of event error, and the other scheduled tasks ran fine just like they have been for the past weeks. I’m sure if I just reschedule the task it would begin to work again but I would really like to figure out why this happened as our report needs to be reliable and accurate.
