Salvage more than 1 part from a single job material

I have a job 123456 where I have a MTL 20 in that job.
MTL 20 is a purchased part but comprises 3 inventoried items(A, B, and C).
Most builds use all 3 items at once. But we have 2 finsihed items that only uses A. We have plenty of other builds that only use B and C.
So when we build the 2 items that only need A and we don’t have any A in stock and instead use MTL 20 we need to be able to salvage B and C.

In the engineering workbench it looks like Salvage is a 1:1 and not a 1:M

Should I be looking at Co-Parts instead?

Salvage is 1 to 1. You can either coparts can do it for you. That would be the only way to get costs on the job accurate. I cant think of anything else.

We occasionally need to do Job receipt to salvage. This is not built into the engineering method, but it allows any / any number of parts to get salvaged off job as long as cost of part is < the job material it is being salvaged off of.
