OrderDtl.OurReqQty – OurJobShippedQty – OurStockShippedQty will also let you know if it’s over shipped or under shipped as well pending on your business type.

I am trying to create a BAQ that will show me orders schedule to ship for the remainder of the month with unit price and cost.  I am having trouble finding the field that shows whether or not the release has shipped.  I am working with the Order tables.

 

Which field am I looking for that will show whether a order release has been shipped?

You have to sum OurJobShipped  and OurStockShippedQty to see if any have shipped.  OurReqQty - (OurJobShipped  + OurStockShippedQty) is qty open.

 

Have you looked at the Sales Order Backlog Status Dashboard? We copied this and made changes to get something like you are working on for forecasting the month.

For manufactured items this quantity can be updated by job entry when the user decides to pull some from stock and manufacture some. This value is used to allocate to the designated warehouse.

There are a couple of ways to get to that, depending on your business. When a release is "shipped" complete (packing slip marked shipped) it gets closed. So you could filter for open releases (OrderRel table -> OpenRelease field). Also, there are 2 qty fields that track shipped qty on the release table -> OurJobShippedQty and OurStockShippedQty. So in the case of partial shipments you could also calculate those fields against required qty.
