How do you choose the bin you want to ship the child parts of a sales kit from?
Parent part number: PartX-100
has Rev with child parts of (100) PARTX
When the sales order line of PartX-100 gets shipped it wont let me pick what bin i want to ship PARTX from.

Sorry, but I have to start with a stupid question.
Is the Parent Part set as a Sales Kit in the part master?

Is there anything special about PartX? Non-stock, quantity bearing, serial tracked, lot tracked, etc.

In Customer Shipment Entry, under the lines, there is a “Sales Kit Component Issue” Tab

Part is stock part, quantity bearing, not lot or serial tracked. inventory on hand. primary bins set up for both warehouses.

Does it not pull from the desired bin?
Or are you looking for how to change it if you had the part in multiple bins?

You are going to have to check that field everywhere. Part Site, Part, Site, Company…

Just one component doesn’t pull right, and other components of the same kit do?
Does the parent part have a primary bin assigned?

There are multiple places where the Sales Kit options are. Have you checked them all to make sure that they don’t have the Backflush checked?
***********************************************************************************************************************************Ignore, my bad. I could only find the settings on Part. I must have been thinking of Lots. Sorry.

The setting is saved when the order is entered. Is the “Sales Kit Params” active on the order line? If not, you will have to delete the line and reenter it to take the new parameters.
Or, you can create a new order with the part that you took the backflush off and it will work.
