For our remote office, based in Miami, we get over the report issue by using ThinPrint on our terminal server. The printing speed is almost the same as if you were printing it locally.

Subject: [Vantage] Re: Running Vantage two sites
We have something similar to what Chris has listed below. Our corporate office uses pfSense for a firewall (OpenVPN) and our UK office is on ADSL with an Endian Appliance. The sites are connected via the OpenVPN solution.
The problem that we are running into is the speed at which reports get transferred across the "pond." I am currently investigating WAN optimizers to see if I can decrease latency and increase the performance.
Slightly OT, but if anyone wants to discuss SilverPeak, Riverbed, Cisco WAS, etc, I am all ears.

The devices will then handle all the routing so the clients don't require any special setup. It's a pretty common setup. You should be able to find tons of info without too much trouble.
