Running Kinetic from a Web Browser: Answer: Here is how

From KB0115492:

Assuming that the HomePageURL value in your smart client’s .sysconfig file is:

https://epicorservername.domain.net/EpicorProd/Apps/Erp/Home

The following URL will log the user account into an MES menu structure and will consume a DataCollection/MES user license.

https://epicorservername.domain.net/EpicorProd/Apps/Erp/Home/#/home/MES/home?mode=DC

The following URL will log the user account into an MES menu structure but will consume a full office license/default user license. If a customer has purchased dedicated DataCollection user licenses, this URL would not allow those DataCollection licenses from being used and may not function at all depending on the Kinetic release in question.

https://epicorservername.domain.net/EpicorProd/Apps/Erp/Home/#/login?app=MES

When I first try to launch it in a browser, I get promoted to enter a Tenant ID. What is that? I thought it was the Account # or Site ID. When I plug in a number, I get an error: “Azure Settings not found for this Tenant ID.”

Do you work out of the GR office?

Sounds like this is based on the auth method for your company.

In Admin Console, Appserver Configuration - Uncheck the Azure Auth. Unless the Azure details are set up in the appropriate screen, this is what you get prompted.
