Even with the quality module (DMR processing - not just simple inspection pass/fail) there is no precreated return to vendor (on reject) process.

They leave it to you to use the basic tool set to create a process to handle your needs.

That tool set (like most of Epcior's programmed implementations of their professed paradigms) is very user inefficient, non-intuitive & likely to only give you a marginal RTV process (with holes in it large enough to drive a semi through).

We've created these processes and made them as simple as possible, but people still struggle to carry through on them accurately becasue of the inordinate amount of steps required to do what other systems to efficiently. That is aggravated further by the fact that when human error occurs, QC and DMR processes are one way streets: Once transacted (right or wrong), they cannot be 'fixed' as can inventory transaction or labor transactions can. Once a mistake is there, you have to do all kinds of cludge actions to 'undo them' (or at least get the desired initial result).

Epicor should be required to run their own business on Vantage.

Things would change rapidly if they did (and not just in QC functional areas).

Yes, but I believe you need the Quality Module... if you have it, it

shows up under Production Management -> Quality Assurance. Do you have

that?

Is there any where in Vantage to track/process returns (RMAs) to

suppliers?
