Hi Epicor gurus,
We starting having the following error message when trying to decrease the selling quantity of a sales order , this start happening when we start using report quantity . Is there a way to avoid this message? Why is the reason of the message , I don’t understand it cause we never use the reserved or allocation quantity functionality.

Hi,
Please check whether you have selected the Buy to Order check box in Sale Order Release. If so, you have to un allocate through Material Queue Manager

Thanks @Anbuselvi for the reply but now we don’t have the the buy to order we only have lines that are set to make direct. I did see that we had some material movements for those lines but even deleting the line from there it still the same message.

Definitely you can’t minimize the inventory or remove the line item. You have to unallocated the Part through Material Queue Manager.
In the Material Queue Manager, you can track the Part either Part No or Sale Order No/Job No. then un allocate the Part
