Reports not running in Test Environment

Hello all,

I can’t seem to make reports generate in our test environment. I have tried previewing the Job Traveler in both the Crystal and SSRS styles. The job sits in the “Scheduled Tasks” queue and never runs. I have checked the administration console and the task agent for the test environment is running.

Any thoughts? I was thinking maybe I wasn’t pointed to the report server but this issue applies for Crystal reports as well.

Try restarting the task agent service. I have to do that on occasion when processes get stuck under scheduled. Once I restart the service they move to active and process.

So odd, because it was running, prior. But that worked. Thank you.

What’s the next troubleshooting step when restarting the task agent and even rebooting the whole server fail to resolve the issue?

Edit: to answer my own question, look in the Event Viewer. It turns out the task agent was not running, even though the Epicor server manager claimed it was.
