Report needed GL acct monthly totals - Vantage 8.03

Mike,

Vic is correct that the accounts are updated with posted transactions, however, it isn't just when the period is closed. Cash Receipt, Cash Disbursements, Sales Journal, and Journal Entries are all updated immediately. Unfortunately, the Purchase Journal and Inventory Journal impacts aren't posted until the WIP/Inv Reconciliation process is completed for the month.

I generally am doing quick updates for our reporting after I have posted INV/WIP for the month before I publish our financials, so that isn't a big deal for me.

Mike - It contains credits and debits *posted* to an account. So only when
Finance closes a fiscal period, I believe.

our reporting. Has worked well for us.

Need to know if there was an easier way to create a report in Vantage to
generate monthly totals by GL Acct# without having to total the accounts in
the GLJrnDtl table since it is so huge and since we are using Crystal/ODBC
for reporting, it takes awhile to go through that table. I was hoping there
might be a table that keeps a monthly "summary" of activity by GL acct#? We
are on Vantage8.03 progress. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Our Production Engineer would like help with the following:

I wanted to know how people handled price breaks that have expired in Epicor 9. We are seeing that when we have price breaks on purchased materials and they have expired our system is pulling a price randomly. Does anyone know if we can shut off the expired filter for purchased parts or is that data left out? I also wanted to know what people thought about the MES module and where it would be found if we had purchased it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
