Removing "Customer "x" is on credit hold message"

We are on 8.03.408A and this is the BPM we use to suppress the credit hold message.

SalesOrder.CheckCustomerCreditLimit - Post Processing BPM

No Conditions

Actions
set the cCreditLimitMessage argument to the "" value False
set the lContinue argument to the TRUE value False

Do the same for SalesOrder.CheckCustOnCreditHold and SalesOrder.OnChangeofSoldToCreditCheck

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to remove the message that pops up on SO entry/tracker that warns a customer is on credit hold. We don't really have a need for it as we have the shipments already held if a Customer is on CH and the message pops up multiple times a day for users that do not need to see it, I imagine we spend at least 40 hours as a company per year clicking "ok" on that message. I couldn't find anything in the company config on it other than the warn/stop toggle for shipments.

Any info would be great, is anyone else annoyed with that message? Is there something we can change in our process to mitigate the number of times this message shows?

Bonus quest, the other message we could do without is the "order has make direct releases without job links" same issue for us.

Thanks,
Mitch Hermes
Do you utilize the credit limit function to determine if they are on credit hold? That is what is providing the warning messages because their open invoice balance and the sales order exceed that limit. If you leave it at zero, they will have no limit and the only time that message will come up is for new customer if the hold has not been removed or a customer is manually put on hold.

Hope this helps.

Run a Trace when this happens you'll see a method which has a parameter usually called MESSAGE or OUT Message. If you look at it you'll see that this message parameter contains that "CRDIT HOLD" message after the method runs, so with a simple BPM you can set that Parameter to empty and it would get rid of the massage. Be aware that this parameter may be used for other things too so ensure that in your Condition on the BPM you specify to only clear the credit hold one.

<p>Do you utilize the credit limit function to determine if they are on credit hold? That is what is providing the warning messages because their open invoice balance and the sales order exceed that limit. If you leave it at zero, they will have no limit and the only time that message will come up is for new customer if the hold has not been removed or a customer is manually put on hold.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Vantage] Removing "Customer "x" is on credit hold message"

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to remove the message that pops up on SO entry/tracker that warns a customer is on credit hold.

Thanks Jose, we will give it a shot in test.
We utilize both manual holds and limit holds, we want to continue using them we just don't want the message to show on the order entry/tracker screens. I think Jose's reply will give us what we need. Thanks though!
