Refreshing grid after updating it

Hi

Anyone know how to use grid-refresh? I’m trying to refresh a grid after I’ve updated it but I can’t seem to get it working.

The value is ["grdSelected"] - Includes from the Data Model → Grid ID

But it doesn’t work

Cheers

Anyone?

You ever figure this out (or anyone)? Still seems to not work in newest cloud version

Alright, think I figured it out.

It is not looking at the ID here

It is looking for the ID here (I generated a GUID)

Then…

What version are you on? I was on the newest cloud release in my example above

11.2.400.6 on-prem. Moving to 11.2.400.11 tomorrow. Maybe if we’re lucky…

I would be curious if it worked after you updated.

There is also another guid available if you export the layer and look at it in a text editor and find the grid, I have not tried this guid to see if it also works

I don’t think the upgrade made a difference. However, I do think the grid-refresh is working after all, just not consistently. Looks like I have another problem to figure out. Thanks for the info on the grid ID–much appreciated!

I could not get this to work…

Can you show all your base and grid model settings ?

e.g.
What is your “EpBinding” property set to ? (“Data” property section)
“Ep Binding” ? (“Grid Model” property section)
“Provider Model” properties (“Grid Model” property section)

thanks, Scott

I’ve been struggling to get mine to work as well. I can filter my grid, but can’t unfilter it… and if I “refresh” them, they just go blank. Its been a battle.

I had to assign my grids an ID as they didn’t have one but once I did worked like a champ! I didn’t even have to use a GUID.
