Our users were able to select a cell in the grid, fill it out, then press the down arrow to change to the next row and cell for the same column, type again, then repeat.
Now when they press the down arrow to go to the next cell in the row below, the cell is not allowing for entry until you click on it. Not sure how to explain it better.
Does anyone else have this issue? Any way around it?
It does something strange like it focuses the grid to the left then back the cell it should be on after keying downward.
But the cell that I am hoping to type in (without having to remove my right hand and click with the mouse) looks like this:
Clicking F2 works! that might be a workaround… they won’t LOVE it (or maybe they will and I’m just being pessimistic), but maybe it will help them so they don’t have to remove their hands from the keyboard.
Just wait until some user has the function keys default to their alternate function, like: Mute, Volume Down, etc… Or the worst possible function: Toggle Radio (i.e. WLAN/WiFi)
