Receipt entry in Epicor 9.05.702A. Does anyone's "arrived lines

I know…there have been a lot of times over the years where I have caught Epicor documentation saying the wrong thing…my worst situation was the very first time I did a physical inventory in version 5 or 6, we voided a lot of tags only to be told once you void one tag, then all tags for that part number were technically voided!  And even though I had NOT posted I could not change them…$15MM inventory down the drain…I learned NEVER to depend on their documentation…..I test first if I can….or depend on this group!

All you can do is find it and tell Epicor to fix it….they are actually good about that.

Thanks Manasa, it’s just frustrating that the actual MANUAL shows that it works differently and is wrong….

Yep that is how we also did it, we picked and chose through the Mass Receipt area.  Use the check boxes on the far left to pick and choose your lines.  The system moves them from the top section to the bottom section.

We upgraded from Vantage 8 to Epicor 9 and appears that we lost the functionality when we go into Receipt Entry, and enter a PO and packing slip, we do not get ANY “arrived” lines that we can choose from to receive against.  We can either receive a line “manually” if we go into “Stock, Job Material, Other Material, etc” tabs and then select “new” or we can go into the “mass receipt” deal and work there but it was so much easier in Vantage 8.  The strange thing is that in the 9.05 manual, it blatantly says that the application should show the arrived lines for the receipt when we select the PO and Packing slip (just as Vantage 8 did).  I just got off the phone with Epicor support and they told me that NO, it doesn’t work that way anymore and we have to use Mass Receipt to auto-receive but the picture in the actual Epicor 9.05 user manual on page 561 shows it the way it used to work in Vantage 8.  I’m conflicted on whether I need to fight Epicor on this or it truly just doesn’t work anymore.  I’m just wondering why they even have a tab in the grid on receipt entry that says “Arrived Lines” if nothing ever populates it.  Can someone on Epicor 9.05.702A verify on their system that what Epicor is telling me is the truth?
