Quote Module in version 6.1

The final link for me was to create the part number in the part master, then go back to the quote and change the part number in the quote to be the same as the one I just created, then go back to the Engineer's Workbench and get details from the quote.

That's because our internal part number would not be created until the quote was accepted and we received an order. This made it a little easier the always have the link in the part master to the quote.

I believe that, when you add check out the revision of the 'new' part in part Master, in Engineer's Workbench, you can 'get Details' form the Quote.

If we quote a part that does not exist in our part master and use the Mfg Details option to build the routings and BOM, can we easily add that part to the part master?

What are our options? Do we have to manually create that part along with its BOM again?

Thanks,
