I have always been a fan of clicking [Ctrl][S] after putting the first few letters of a customer in the custID field and the search window would open with the search results.
Predictive Searching has changed this.
To create a predictive search - create / find a BAQ with the information you need.
This one has the CustID and Name in a calculated field to be searched.
After you have the BAQ - right click in the customer* field to launch the Predictive Maintenance
