Quick favor to help me debug Tax Connect issues

I’d like some people here to run the following tracert from their App server.

tracert avatax.avalara.net

Did it eventually reach avatax.avalara.net? If so, how many hops?
(No need to post your actual results)

And add any notes if you know specifics of your network. For example our App server is part of our data center (we’re a multi-billion dollar company - so it’s vary vast).

For example, from my home ISP (obviously not where we keep the App Server), I get

So the answers to question above is Yes and 2

Whereas running it from my App server, I get:

So the answer would be No.

Thanks. I’m starting to think that tracert isn’t really helpful in solving my problem. The fact that my home ISP found it in 2, and the App Server never connected, was a coincidence.
