Query Supplier/Vendors with GL code = ""

Found it!  It's just the Expense code chart and department that are part of the Vendor table.  Overlooked the most obvious.

Need assistance in linking the vendor table with GL codes.  We have a request to query all vendors with a specific GL code.

Have you looked at the table EntityGLC
- Related to Vendor
- Key1 : VendorNum
- GLControlType
- GLControlCode

We are on 9.05, so I am not sure if it is the same on 8, but on 9.05 you can click on the field you are trying to find more info on, and then go to help -> field help -> then go to technical details and it shows you the table name and field name of the field.  then you can go to data dictionary to get more info.

 

On 9.05 the supplier GL field is in the table EntityGLC  -> but I don't know about 8.
