Query for Inventory "Like"

Good morning team,

Do you have any query to look all my inventory part by part? I need to develop a dashboard that let me do a “like” search, for example, I need to search all my 300NE Pieces, I have 300NE1, 300NE2, etc. so, i need to be able to write “300” in the search and the query brings me all the 300´s. Any ideas?

That’s a pretty simple query and dashboard. Sounds like you need help learning how to do it. First check out the help files under the tools user guides. They explain the basics of BAQ’s and have some walk-throughs on how to make some simple BAQs. After you go through those, start trying to build what you are talking about and ask for help when you get stuck.

Epicor already does a search for “Where part description contains”. This should do the job.

I already have the query, I just need the “like” search;

From your examples, starts with could work, then if you train users that using * will work as a wild card if it doesn’t start with, that should get you what you need.

Also, it looks odd that your Input Prompts Only check box isn’t checked. Generally you want to check that.
