Putting a Sales Order Line on Hold

What do you want to do with the hold on the line/release? Prevent jobs from being created and/or prevent shipments? You can use a Hold Type Directive and then create a Method pre-processing method
 to prevent some event fromoccuring

Â
Can anyone tell me how to put a Sales Order Line/Release on hold? I know
that you can put the whole order on hold but we need to put just one line on
hold. We are on version 9.04.507A. Thanks in advance!

Our IT guy added a HOLD box to the Sales Order Lines so we can check that
box and it puts the Line on hold and also prints HOLD on the Sales Order
Acknowledgement. It also stops shipping from being able to ship it until
we take the line off of HOLD.
