What do you want to do with the hold on the line/release? Prevent jobs from being created and/or prevent shipments? You can use a Hold Type Directive and then create a Method pre-processing method
 to prevent some event fromoccuring

Subject: [Vantage] Putting a Sales Order Line on Hold
Â
Can anyone tell me how to put a Sales Order Line/Release on hold? I know
that you can put the whole order on hold but we need to put just one line on
hold. We are on version 9.04.507A. Thanks in advance!
