We had prowin32 errors for a number of months after we went live. Several
attempts were made to eliminate these errors but nothing worked. The last
thing that we found was that the vantage set-up on some of our works
stations were mapped to the sever in a different way to the majority. We
altered all of the workstations to the same mapped drive and since then we
have had no Prowin32 errors.

Ian

Subject: [Vantage] Prowin32 errors on Vantage 4.0
Just updated to 4.0 last weekend and am now having major prowin32 errors on
the employee master file and part file when I go to change certain fields...
other files are fine... is there something wrong with our database.. I have
gotten no errors in logs... this is really irritating since I have rebooted
six times already today. I thought all this was fixed by now... or is it
something that I have installed incorrectly... also, how can I tell if we
are at service pack 6a on NT -- I had someone come in and install the
service pack but it still says "service pack 6" when you are booting up.
Thanks!
