Is anyone using Projects to simply group a number of jobs together for identification and tracking only? We group most of our individual jobs and Projects looks like it has way more funtionality than I'm going to use.
I was hoping I could simply create Project Numbers, choose them as links in Job Entry, and track profitability for the whole group of jobs when complete. It looks like I have to actually create any jobs from within Project Entry which is not what I want.
Over time, we'll likely use more and more of the features but I need to at least start relatively simply.
Any ideas or do you think I should just use a UD field?
