Progress 5.2 Uninstall - Help!

I ended up just reformatting that drive. Even through DOS it said access denied to the netsetup folder. Since nothing was on that drive but my busted installation it wasn't a big deal to reformat.

Thanks everyone for responding so quickly.

Try going into the directory and delete the contents before trying to
delete the folder. Make sure your folder view is set to view all files
(including system files). Check your Services list to see if something
is grabbing a specific file. One at a time KILL individual processes to
see if it will let loose of the offending file.

I will try that. It won't even allow me to get into the folder. It says access denied. I am of course logged on as administrator. Also, as previously mentioned, at this point "everyone" has full access to that whole drive. Will see what I can do.

Thanks

One more thing to try if all that fails. Kick everybody out of the
system, shut down Vantage/Progress. Restart the system in safe mode,
see if you can delete it from there. Next if that doesn’t work get an
win95, win98 or a win ME boot disk and boot from floppy. Once in dos,
try deleting from there.
