Problems printing job traveler with HP 5L

We had no problems printing to HP5L from Windows NT. As someone else
suggested, use the 5L drivers on the Windows NT disk. Also check that the
print options from inside Internet explorer are correct. I had someone
change the margins from inside IE5.5, which didn't show up in the normal
print setup windows, but printed everything off the LHS of the page. (Go
into IE, select file|page setup or file|print and check the printer
settings.

I am still having problems trying to print the job traveler from an
NT 4.0 PC to an attached HP Laserjet 5L. The left margin is still
being cut off. I even tried printing to an HP 6L from this PC but
got the same result.

I have downloaded the HP 5L PCL driver, the HP 5e driver and the
series II driver from the HP website but have had no luck with any of
them.

We are on Vantage version 5.0.337.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brent O'Donnell
Brent,

Try using the HP Laserjet 5P driver from the NT 4.0 CD (don't click have
disk - choose from the list). The 5P driver seems to be the solution to all
of our printing problems here with the L series printers. You might also
have to re-install any service packs after loading the driver.
